An illegal immigrant who brutally murdered a Michigan woman has filed a bold lawsuit against Donald Trump over remarks the President made about him on the campaign trail.
Brandon Ortiz-Vite, a 27-year-old Mexican, is serving 39 to 100 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to killing his girlfriend in March 2024.
He shot Ruby Garcia, 25, in the head multiple times, then pushed her out of a car on Highway US 131 in downtown Grand Rapids.
Days after the horrific slaying, Trump, who made tackling illegal immigration a cornerstone of his campaign, held a rally in the same city, where he labeled Ortiz-Vite as 'America's problem.'
